What do FG, SG and AG studs mean?
FG (firm ground) suits natural grass pitches and is the most common choice. SG (soft ground) has longer, often removable studs for wet or muddy pitches. AG (artificial ground) has shorter, more numerous studs designed for 3G and artificial surfaces.
Leather or synthetic upper?
Leather uppers, especially calf leather, tend to give a softer, more traditional cushioned touch and mould to your foot over time. Synthetic uppers are usually lighter, need less breaking in, and often include grip technology aimed at close ball control.
